Just Listed. Just Sold
Just Listed, Just Sold
We see a lot of Realtor® social media pages. A lot! It’s surprising how many of them will post canned content, or only post Just Listed, Just Sold.
We are huge fans of Tom Ferry and Jason Pantana when it comes to real estate marketing. If you are as well, then you’ve heard Tom’s opinion of Just Listed, Just Sold marketing. In short, it’s not going to cut it anymore.
Why? Because we all have to demonstrate value. We need to articulate what makes us different and better than the 1,000 other people doing the exact same thing. Not just because of the NAR settlement that requires a signed buyer’s agreement, but because future clients want to know…who am I about to trust the biggest transaction of my life with? They want to know you. When you meet a potential client in person for the first time, they should already have an idea of who you are because they are about to put their financial future in your hands.
So how do you do that? (Sounds like Tom Ferry, doesn’t it? 😊) Do you post a graphic that shows how much home values have increased over the last five years? No.
Can you build that relationship through email? Maybe
Can you do that through direct mail? Not really
Social media and YouTube are where it’s at. With social media posting, consistency is key to building brand recognition and trust. For YouTube, a video of you highlighting your favorite neighborhood will generate views for years versus a video tour that starts with “This 3 bedroom, 2 bath home…”.
Authenticity is key. Be yourself. Let your personality shine through your posts. Share the real you on social media and watch your business grow!
